Service offerings
1. I will continue to offer computer support remotely. I’m always happy to hop on a call and remotely connect to your computer via Chrome Remote Desktop to help with whatever issues you may be facing.
2. I can still help digitize your old VHS tapes, cassette tapes, and more no matter where you live. These things can easily be shipped and I love helping bring your old memories back alive.
3. Some jobs just have to be done in person. After I move in late spring 2025 I will transition from supporting people in SE Minnesota to supporting people in person in Indiana, specifically in Jackson County (Seymour, IN) and other surrounding areas. I will keep an eye out for other businesses I might be able to refer you to, but have not yet found anyone I’m willing to endorse.

When are you moving?
At the time of this writing, I don’t know exactly. We will be listing our house in mid-late March and will begin looking at houses in Indiana soon after that. We are hoping our kids can finish the school year in Minnesota, which ends late May but a lot is to be determined.
Where are you moving?
We will be looking for a house in Seymour, IN which is located in Jackson County. It is about halfway between Indianapolis and Louisville, Kentucky.
Why Seymour?
There are a lot of reasons! The initial reasoning was in pursuit of good, but more affordable, Lutheran schools for our children. We wanted a town that had not only Lutheran K-8 education but also High School. Seymour specifically was appealing to us because we wanted to be in a town much smaller than Rochester, but not so small we had to drive 30 minutes for groceries. As an added perk, it is just far enough south that the winters are much shorter and milder. I have some family less than 2 hours away from there and it will be great to see them more often.
What will your business be called?
I thought about this for a long time, but decided why mess with a good thing? I’ll always be born and raised Minnesotan, I’ll always be a nerd, so Minnesotan Nerd just works. And besides, it will probably catch peoples attention!
