If you’re ready for help but not sure how this works, I’m here to help solve your problem in 6 painless steps.

1. Contact me

The easiest way to get ahold of me is to fill out my contact form. If you prefer, you can also send me a message on the Minnesota Nerd Facebook page. I always do my best to respond within 48 hours, usually quicker.

2. Create a game plan

Once we’ve had a chance to communicate, we’ll establish a plan. Even if we’re hundreds of miles away, there are many services I can help with by remotely connecting to your computer. For converting your old VHS tapes, cassette tapes, and more we can work through the mail. For local services, I can come to you or you can come to me. If I need to do advanced troubleshooting or work on a computer, I may end bringing it home with me or you can drop it off.

3. Get a visit, make a visit, or send it off

Now that we’ve made a plan, Let’s get together! You can ship your tapes and other media to me through media mail. We can meet at my home in SE Rochester, or I’ll pay you a visit. A small mileage charge may apply if I’m visiting you outside of Olmsted County.

4. Get back in business

Next I’ll get your equipment fixed, your tapes digitized, or your questions answered. I will make certain that all of your concerns have been addressed and you won’t be disappointed! If parts need to be ordered to complete the job, I will let you know as soon as possible and give you all of the information to make an informed decision on next steps.

5. Delivery

As needed, I will get your equipment or finished product returned to you. Payment is due upon completion via cash, card, or electronic payment methods such as Venmo.

6. Share your excitement

Enjoy your technology woes being behind you. Leave a review on Facebook and Google. And of course tell your friends and family!
